Here is a simple breakdown of how to personalize your browser’s theme:
1. Theme Selection
This setting changes the overall background and menu colors of the Kahf Browser app. When you tap on “Theme,” you can choose from three options:
- System Default: This is the smartest option! It automatically syncs Kahf Browser with your phone’s overall settings. If your phone is set to turn on Dark Mode at sunset, your browser will automatically switch to dark mode at the same time.
- Light: This gives your browser a clean, bright, and classic white interface. It is great for daytime use or reading in well-lit environments.
- Dark: This transforms the app’s menus and backgrounds into a sleek, dark color. When to use: Dark mode is highly recommended for night-time browsing. It significantly reduces eye strain in low-light areas and can even help save battery life on phones with OLED screens.
2. Force Websites To Use Dark Theme
(Note: While you didn’t toggle this in the video, it is a very helpful feature right below the Theme setting!) Sometimes you might have your browser set to Dark Mode, but a specific website still loads with a glaring white background.
- How it works: Turning this toggle ‘On’ gently forces supported websites to adopt a darker color scheme, giving you a consistent, eye-friendly experience across the whole web.
3. App Icon
Want to customize how Kahf Browser looks on your phone’s home screen? Tapping this option allows you to select from different icon designs to match your phone’s aesthetic!
How to Change Your Theme
Switching up your style takes just a few seconds. Here is how:
- Open your Kahf Browser.
- Tap the Menu icon (the four squares at the bottom right of the screen).
- Select Settings (the gear icon).
- Tap on Appearance.
- Tap Theme and select your favorite look (System Default, Light, or Dark), then click Set Theme!
